Working with Families

Working with Families: At Regional Home from Home, we place your loved ones at the center of all decision-making processes. Our primary goal is to foster strong and trusted relationships with the families of those we support. We achieve this by deeply respecting your views and recognizing the crucial role you play in supporting your family member.

We understand the anxiety that can arise when a child leaves home for the first time or when there’s a transition in support providers. Our meticulous attention to detail and our dedicated approach ensure that these transitions are managed with utmost care and smoothness. We are committed to providing peace of mind through a seamless process, ensuring that your loved ones receive the highest quality of care and support.

Connecting Families

Supported living in Northampton considers the unique needs of each service user. Therefore, we develop personalised support plans that focus on individuals. These plans are carefully crafted to align with the service user’s strengths and needs, involving input from the service user, their family, and support networks.

In addition to our tailored support plans, we understand that families living with people with disabilities often have common concerns and experiences. To help ease any worries, we connect families with each other, fostering a supportive community.

Communicating with families

Communication with families is crucial to the success of the relationship and agree with families at the outset how and when we communicate with them.

Risk
Assessments

The welfare and safety of both the individuals in our care and our dedicated staff are always our number one priority. To ensure the highest standards of care, we carry out comprehensive risk assessments on all proposed support plans. These assessments are meticulously designed to identify and mitigate any potential hazards, ensuring a secure environment for everyone involved.

Our commitment to safety doesn’t stop there. We understand that the needs of our service users can change over time, which is why we continuously review and update our risk assessments. This ongoing process allows us to adapt to any new circumstances and maintain a high level of care that meets the evolving needs of each individual. Our proactive approach ensures that every support plan remains aligned with our safety protocols, providing peace of mind to service users and their families

QCC regulated

Quality Assurance

Regional Home From Home is unwavering in its commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of its services. We understand the importance of transparency and accountability in providing exceptional care. To that end, we keep a copy of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report on-site at our home, ensuring it is readily available for review by residents, families, and visitors upon request. This report provides a detailed evaluation of our services, highlighting areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement.

Moreover, we recognise the diverse needs of our community and are dedicated to ensuring that all information is accessible. Should you require the CQC inspection report in a different format, we are more than happy to accommodate this request with sufficient notification. This commitment to accessibility ensures that everyone, regardless of their needs, can review our performance and understand our dedication to providing high-quality care.

At Regional Home From Home, we strive to foster an environment of trust, excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring the best possible experience for all those we support.
